About This Job

Arc Health is seeking a seasoned permanent Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (or Physicians Assistant - pay based on MGMA median) who is familiar with Critical Access Hospitals, with at least 3-4 years of inpatient experience working in rural locations for a night Hospitalist position in the heart of the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire.

Position Details:
- This is a permanent full-time position.
- Schedule: Wednesday through Friday 9pm-7am (occasional Tuesday if provider is interested)

Clinic Details:
- EMR is Meditech Expanse, Dragon dictation
- Supported by a strong, collaborative team of House Coordinator, Case Management, MAs, RNs, LPNs, LNA Case Manager, and On-Call Staff
- 10 pts/day in MedSurg on average, <1 pt/day in ICU, 2% child/98% adult
- EKG interpretation, initial CXE interpretation, intubation, vent management
- ED runs codes
- 3 ICU beds (2 daily census)
- Admissions: 2-5 new admits/consults per shift.
- Inpatient: 8-12 (daily visits or discharge): Observation, inpatient, and SNF/swing status.
- Patient mix: 90% adults, 10% peds. 85% Medicine, 14% Surgery, 1% Trauma
- Total # of Beds: 25
- Requires American Heart Association BLC, PALS, and NRP (if peds)
